Two decades leading the development of content-led campaigns, commercial partnerships and audience experiences across radio, digital and live platforms.

A decade-plus of ideas built to turn moments into something people will remember.
National brand, partnerships and promotions for Australia’s #1 FM drive show — live across the Hit Network, 3–6pm right around the country. Achieved #1 FM Drive across multiple surveys. The job: build ideas big enough to scale across radio, digital, social and live. Land real commercial partnerships, and keep the talent and the audience at the centre of every one.

Carrie & Tommy – Australia’s #1 FM drive show, live across the Hit Network 3–6pm weekdays. Contributed to $5M+ in annual commercial campaigns.
Brand ideas that use talent authentically and still deliver the commercial outcome.
Promotions, partnerships, legals, marketing design, digital, social and ops, pulled into one runsheet.
Ideas that connect with the audience and work for the client at the same time.
From Tourism Queensland integrations like the ‘Wheely Good Adventure’ motorhome road trip, to Disney partnerships like ‘Fun-gal in the Jungle’ for the Jungle Cruise film release, to recurring cash games that have paid out real six-figure prizes — branded content that feels native to the show and still moves the needle for the partner.

Two-time ACRA Award winner and multiple industry award finalist (Australian Commercial Radio Awards).
The stories behind the work — and the teams that made them happen.
The Hit Network’s flagship summer giveaway, powered by Liberty — one listener and a guaranteed $50,000, with the chance to play with Carrie & Tommy for a life-changing $1,000,000 on Million Dollar Day. Listeners entered with the one big dream they’d make real, earned their spot in the Millionaires’ Lounge across the summer, and one was flown to Melbourne to play for the lot. A single sponsor woven through breakfast, workday and drive across the entire network — brand partnership at national scale.

A national tourism campaign for Tourism & Events Queensland that got the drive show out of the studio and — for the first time ever — onto the road in a fully co-branded motorhome. Four days, four coastal broadcasts, one very long Queensland road trip up “Australia’s Holiday Highway.”
Carrie & Tommy went live from K’gari, the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and the Gold Coast, with daily destination content stretching all the way to the Whitsundays. A $5,000 Queensland holiday on the line for listeners, and a client brief that felt like an adventure instead of an ad. Built with dentsu Queensland and The Studio at SCA.

One of the toughest marathon courses in the world, run through an African wildlife park — the start pushed back half an hour because elephants were standing on the track. A story that travelled a lot further than the finish line. All for Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer, with La Roche-Posay and PUMA — one idea carried across radio, creator social, partner activation and live events.
Tourism New Zealand’s global “If You Seek” platform, reimagined for Australia’s #1 drive show as Fully Seek — a bit of Aussie wordplay that took a polished tourism brand and made it feel like the show’s own. Carrie & Tommy broadcast live from New Zealand across the week, whilst living out the “seek” experiences themselves — abseiling waterfalls and all — while 5 listeners scored a trip for 2 across the ditch to join the fun. The knack was making a national tourism board’s brand platform play like content the audience joins in on, rather than an ad break.

A Specsavers listener competition that ended with the entire national drive show broadcasting live from Paris. Take a brand brief, turn it into a reason to fly the show to the other side of the world, and give 20 listeners the trip of a lifetime, seeing their favourite artist in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Integration that became an event.
A national partnership between the Hit Network and Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras — one of the world’s great celebrations of the LGBTQIA+ community — won back across all 52 stations. More than a logo on a poster: Carrie & Tommy built a float and costumes with listeners, marched in the parade with special guest Troye Sivan, and the partnership ran the whole year with support around the dates that matter and a dedicated community resource hub. A commercial partnership that actually stood for something.

A repeatable live comedy franchise built with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival — two years running, and a 2024 ACRA finalist. The Roast of Tommy Little (2024) and The Roast of Carrie Bickmore (2025). And it didn’t stop when the lights went up: backstage interviews the second the roasters walked off, the highlights on-air the next day, clips everywhere after. One night of live comedy, feeding radio, podcast and social for a week.

A national Carrie & Tommy promotion built in partnership with InterContinental Hayman Island — Australia’s most famous private island resort. A simple, repeatable format with a genuinely aspirational prize awarded every single day: pack listeners off to paradise, then bring the island back to the audience through the show. Partner integration listeners actively want to be part of, week after week.
A national campaign for Hard Rated built around the worst car you’ve ever owned. Listeners registered online, then selected entrants got to tell us their “lemon” horror stories on-air, building to a car-yard stunt: a branded car crusher, two listeners’ cars flattened to scrap — and only one owner walking away $50,000 richer. Branded content with a genuine spectacle at the end of it with huge stakes. Built with PHD and The Studio.
A brand partnership with LIV Golf Adelaide — the loudest, most talked-about event on the golf calendar, built around The Grange’s infamous “Watering Hole.” The show turned it into a spectacle with a cash giveaway worth up to $100,000 — Carrie & Tommy's “Hole in What” gave the audience a way to play along with the action out on the course. Taking a global sports property and turning it into something the radio audience could win their way into.
A national major Hit Network promotion spanning breakfast, workday and drive that turned the mailbag into appointment radio. Across 8 weeks Carrie & Tommy gave away more than $250,000 in prizes, building to a huge final surprise for one listener, Jeanette, handed the ultimate package — a new car, $5k cash and a holiday.

I’ve spent most of my career trying to answer one question: how do you get people genuinely excited about something?
Across two decades I’ve worked in radio, entertainment, partnerships, promotions, live events and audience engagement — launching creative content campaigns, building partnerships, managing talent, leading teams, and occasionally solving problems nobody saw coming.
I started in 2007 giving away free stuff on the SCA street team. A few months ago, I finished up as National Brand Experience Director. Somewhere in between, an entire lifetime happened. The job titles changed, but the mission never really did: find great ideas, work with great people, make things people care about.
What I love most is sitting where creativity and execution meet — the place where someone says “wouldn’t it be cool if…” and then figuring out how to make it happen. I’ve been lucky enough to work with major artists, iconic brands, community initiatives, commercial partners and some incredibly talented people. When I stop and think about it, it's not just the campaigns that I’ll remember most. I’ll remember the people.
As for what’s next? I’m open-minded — maybe media, maybe entertainment, maybe something completely different. What I know is that the skills I’ve built — leadership, creativity, storytelling, partnerships, audience engagement and execution — travel well. And I’m excited to see where they take me next.
I’m always up for a conversation about ideas, partnerships, and where they might go next.
